Pourquoi convertir le fil Dimensions

Dimensions vend son fil dans ses kits plutôt que comme une gamme à part, et la légende du kit désigne chaque couleur par le numéro propre à Dimensions. Quand il manque du fil dans un kit, ou que vous voulez broder de nouveau le même motif avec le fil que vous avez déjà, il vous faut l’équivalent DMC de chaque numéro.

Ce tableau contient 425 codes Dimensions. Au fil des ans, les kits ont utilisé davantage de numéros ; si le vôtre n’y figure pas, comparez l’échevette avec les correspondances DMC des numéros voisins, ou cherchez-la à l’œil dans notre nuancier DMC.

Comprendre la qualité de correspondance

  • 93–100 % : pratiquement identiques. Difficiles à distinguer, même côte à côte.
  • 85–92 % : très proches. Petites différences visibles seulement en pleine lumière directe.
  • 75–84 % : bon équivalent. La différence se voit en comparaison directe, mais convient à la plupart des projets.
  • Moins de 75 % : approximatif. Regardez les alternatives : il existe peut-être une meilleure option.

Oui. Le fil des kits Dimensions est un coton mouliné comme le DMC, donc le DMC le plus proche s’utilise avec le même nombre de brins. Dimensions ne publie pas de nuancier, donc ce tableau couvre les 425 codes pour lesquels nous avons des données de couleur fiables. Pour un numéro absent, comparez votre échevette avec les correspondances des numéros voisins.
Comment le pourcentage de correspondance est-il calculé ?
Nous utilisons CIEDE2000, la norme du secteur pour mesurer les écarts de couleur tels que l’œil les perçoit. Chaque correspondance reçoit un niveau en mots simples : Interchangeable (impossible de les distinguer sur la toile), Très proche (la différence ne se voit que côte à côte), Visible (à comparer avec les autres options) et Pas de vrai équivalent (la marque n’a rien d’approchant).
